Which participation level is right for me?

The right participation level depends on how you want to engage with Honor Society®.

Honor Society® membership is free. Participation levels are optional and allow members to choose how deeply they want to participate. There is no required participation level to remain a member.

Definition

Participation levels reflect optional engagement, not membership status.
All members are Honor Society® members regardless of participation level. Participation levels add optional features but do not affect membership, access to scholarships opportunities, or membership duration.

Start with membership

All members begin with Honor Society® membership. Membership:

  • Is free

  • Does not expire

  • Does not require choosing a participation level

  • Provides access to Honor Society scholarships opportunities

Many members remain members without selecting a participation level.

When choosing a participation level may make sense

You may consider a participation level if you:

  • Want additional tools, services, or benefits

  • Plan to engage more actively with Honor Society resources

  • Prefer added convenience or bundled features

  • Want flexibility to change your level later

Choosing a participation level is always optional.

Overview of participation levels

Honor Society offers the following participation levels:

  • No participation level selected
For members who want to remain members without adding optional features.

  • Bronze
For members who want a basic level of additional participation benefits.

  • Silver
For members who want more participation features beyond Bronze.

  • Gold
For members who want expanded participation features and added convenience.

  • Signature
For members who want the most comprehensive participation experience.

Participation levels can be upgraded, downgraded, or canceled at any time.

Do participation levels affect scholarships opportunities?

No.

As long as your membership is active:

  • You have full access to the Honor Society scholarships opportunities

  • Participation levels do not affect access to scholarships opportunities

Scholarship eligibility and selection are based on each scholarship’s stated criteria, not on participation level.

What if I’m not sure which participation level to choose?

That’s okay.

Many members:

  • Start without choosing a participation level

  • Decide later if a participation level is useful

  • Change participation levels as their needs evolve

There is no deadline or requirement to choose a participation level.

Can I change my participation level later?

Yes.

Members may:

  • Add a participation level later

  • Upgrade or downgrade at any time

  • Cancel a participation level and remain members

Changing participation levels does not affect membership.

Why does Honor Society offer multiple participation levels?

Honor Society offers participation levels to provide choice and flexibility.

This allows members to:

  • Join and remain members without payment

  • Select optional features when useful

  • Adjust participation over time without losing membership
