Silver, Gold, and Signature are optional paid participation levels within Honor Society® membership.
All members begin with Basic membership. Silver, Gold, and Signature allow members to choose how deeply they want to participate by adding optional tools, services, benefits, or recognition.
These levels are not required to be a member.
Definition
Silver, Gold, and Signature are paid participation levels.
They enhance participation but do not create membership, replace free membership, or determine how long membership lasts.
Membership and participation levels are separate.
What is Silver participation?
Silver is an optional paid participation level for members who want additional participation features beyond Bronze.
Silver participation:
Adds optional tools, services, or benefits
Does not create or replace membership
Does not affect how long membership lasts
Can be changed or canceled at any time
Silver is often chosen by members who want added participation options without selecting the highest level.
What is Gold participation?
Gold is an optional paid participation level that provides more extensive participation features than Silver.
Gold participation:
Includes everything in lower participation levels
Adds additional convenience, priority features, or benefits
Does not create or replace membership
Remains optional
Gold is designed for members who expect to engage more actively.
What is Signature participation?
Signature is the highest optional participation level.
Signature participation:
Includes the most complete set of participation features
Is designed for members who want everything included
Does not replace Basic membership
Does not change membership duration
Signature is optional and represents a member’s choice to participate at the highest level.
Are Silver, Gold, or Signature required?
No.
Silver, Gold, and Signature are optional. You can remain a Basic (free) member or Bronze participant indefinitely and still be a full Honor Society® member.
What happens if I choose one of these participation levels?
If you choose Silver, Gold, or Signature:
You remain an Honor Society® member
You receive the additional benefits associated with that level
Your participation level remains active for the billing period
Participation levels can be upgraded, downgraded, or canceled at any time.
What happens if I cancel Silver, Gold, or Signature?
If you cancel or downgrade a paid participation level:
Paid benefits continue through the end of the billing period
Your account returns to Basic (free) membership (or another selected level)
Your Honor Society membership remains active
Canceling a participation level does not cancel membership.
Do these levels affect scholarships or eligibility?
Participation levels do not determine membership status.
Eligibility for specific programs or scholarships is based on the criteria for each program, which are always stated separately. Participation levels do not guarantee selection or awards.
Why does Honor Society offer multiple participation levels?
Honor Society offers multiple participation levels to give members choice and flexibility.
This allows members to:
Join for free without financial pressure
Decide later how much they want to participate
Select a level that fits their goals and circumstances
