Do I have to keep paying to remain an Honor Society® member?

Yes.

As long as your membership is active:

  • You continue to have full access to the Honor Society scholarships platform and available opportunities

  • Participation levels do not affect scholarship access

Scholarship eligibility and selection are based on each scholarship’s stated criteria, not on payment status.

Can I start paying again later?

Yes.

Members may add or re-add a paid participation level at any time. Many members do so later when it aligns with milestones such as applying for scholarships, preparing for graduation, or updating resumes or professional profiles.

Restarting payment later is normal and expected.

Why doesn’t payment determine membership?

Honor Society is designed to be membership-first and inclusive.

This means:

  • Membership is free and ongoing

  • Paid participation levels are optional enhancements

  • Members keep their membership regardless of payment decisions
