What happens when a billing period ends?

When a billing period ends, only the paid participation benefits end. Your Honor Society® membership continues.

Honor Society® membership is free. The end of a billing period does not cancel or affect your membership.

What does a billing period apply to?

A billing period applies to:

• Paid participation levels (such as Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Signature)

• The optional benefits associated with that level

A billing period does not apply to Honor Society membership itself.

What happens if my billing period ends and I do not renew?

If a billing period ends and you do not renew:

• Paid participation benefits end at the conclusion of the billing period

• Your account continues at the free Basic level

• Your Honor Society® membership remains active

The end of a billing period does not cancel membership.

Do I lose access to scholarships or opportunities when a billing period ends?

No.

As long as your membership is active:

• You continue to have full access to the Honor Society scholarships platform and available opportunities

• Participation levels do not affect scholarship access

Scholarship eligibility and selection are based on each scholarship’s criteria, not on participation level.

What if my participation level renews automatically?

If your participation level is set to renew automatically:

• Your participation level continues into the next billing period

• Your paid benefits remain active

You can change, downgrade, or cancel a participation level at any time through your account settings.

What happens if I cancel during a billing period?

If you cancel a paid participation level during a billing period:

• Paid benefits remain active through the end of the current billing period

• Your account transitions to the free Basic level afterward

• Your Honor Society® membership continues uninterrupted

Does a billing period ending affect how long membership lasts?
