In many cases, the charge may be related to a membership upgrade, purchase, or account associated with your email or household, but our support team can help verify the details.
Step 1: Check Your Email for Membership Confirmation
When someone joins Honor Society® or upgrades a participation level, a confirmation email and receipt are typically sent to the email address used during signup.
Search your inbox (and spam folder) for:
- Honor Society
- HonorSociety.org
- Membership confirmation
- Receipt
If you find the confirmation email, it will show details about the membership or purchase.

Step 2: Check If Someone in Your Household Signed Up
Sometimes a charge may appear if:
- A family member used your payment method
- A student in your household joined using your card
- Someone upgraded a membership associated with your email
Checking with others who may have access to the payment method can often resolve the confusion quickly.
Step 3: Verify Whether You Have an Account
If you’re unsure whether you have an account, try the following:
- Go to the Honor Society® login page
- Select Forgot Password
- Enter your email address
If an account exists with that email, you’ll receive a password reset link that allows you to access your account and review your membership or billing history.
Step 4: Contact Support for Charge Verification
If you still do not recognize the charge, contact the Honor Society® support team so we can investigate.
