How Is Honor Society® Funded?

Honor Society® is funded primarily through membership dues paid by members who choose to join. These dues support the programs, resources, and services offered to members.

Honor Society® operates independently and is not funded by colleges, universities, or government institutions.

What Membership Dues Support

Membership dues help fund:

  • career and professional development resources
  • member benefits and partner resources
  • technology platforms, including the member dashboard
  • customer support and member services
  • operational and administrative costs

Dues allow Honor Society® to maintain and improve offerings for members nationwide.

No School or Institutional Funding

Honor Society® does not receive funding from:

  • colleges or universities
  • academic departments
  • faculty organizations
  • student fees collected by schools

Membership and programming are administered independently.

Transparency Around Funding

Information about:

  • membership pricing
  • renewal terms
  • what dues support

is clearly disclosed during enrollment and available through the Transparency Statement and Support Center.

Members are encouraged to review this information before joining.

Optional Membership Model

Joining Honor Society® is optional. Individuals decide whether membership aligns with their goals before enrolling.

Membership dues provide access to resources, but they do not guarantee scholarships, employment, or other outcomes.

Summary

Honor Society® is funded primarily through membership dues, which support member benefits, tools, resources, technology, and member services. We operate independently from academic institutions and are committed to transparency about how membership is funded.

If you have questions about dues or funding, our support team is always happy to help.
