What are the GPA requirements?

Our community is open to all who want to invest in their academic, professional, and personal goals. Honor Society® does not have GPA requirements for membership.

However, we do offer optional GPA recognition tiers to celebrate members who have achieved certain academic milestones. These recognition levels are based on your cumulative GPA and are designed to acknowledge academic effort and accomplishment:

  • Highest Honors: 3.80 – 4.00

  • High Honors: 3.50 – 3.79

  • Honors: 3.20 – 3.49

These recognition tiers are a way to highlight academic success within Honor Society®, but they are not tied to membership eligibility or access to benefits. All members, regardless of GPA, receive the same core benefits included in their membership tier.

Honor Society® recognizes that academic performance reflects only one aspect of a student's journey. Many factors—from personal responsibilities to learning differences or life challenges—can influence grades. That’s why our approach is built on openness and inclusivity, celebrating ambition in all its forms: academics, leadership, service, creativity, perseverance, and personal growth.

By offering recognition tiers, we simply provide an additional way for members to showcase their achievements—while supporting every member, at every starting point, as they work to Honor Their Ambition™.
